Literacy Volunteers provides innovative, confidential, and free programs that increase literacy skills for adults.

Vision:

Literacy Volunteers envisions a community where all people, who so desire, have the literacy skills and knowledge needed to:

• Break the intergenerational cycle of illiteracy
• Communicate in English
• Be active in their children's education
• Make informed financial decisions
• Use tehnology to better their lives
• Be self sustainable

LV also envisions a community that understands the economic repercussions of illiteracy and that community will financially and physically support literacy efforts, and become an invested, active participant in the battle against illiteracy.
